My concern is for the ever increasing amounts of plastic finding its way into our oceans. Ocean going seabirds are feeding their young a toxic mix of broken down pieces of consumer plastic and fish.

Investigating the death of ocean going sea birds nesting on Midway Island in the Pacific Ocean,scientists found their stomachs  to be full of plastic shapes, bottle tops and lids of many colours.  The chicks were dying of malnutrition.
